Thanks for stopping by!
I returned to Trinidad and Tobago in 2014 after completing my BASc in Computer Engineering at Queen's University.
There, for eight years, I managed various IT-related projects at Advance Foam Limited, a family business that manufactures and exports bedding products throughout the Caribbean — my father is a founder.
I was the first of their new IT team; the rest that I respected and hired, were just about four people.
While I was privileged to be the “product owner” for all in-house software, I did not have a mentor for practical IT and software development. Most projects had different requirements that I'd need to research, decide on an appropriate tech to use, and learn its implementation.
This year, I decided to further my interests in software development and return to Toronto to find a team of like-minded colleagues.
I enjoy:
- Cooking (I make a great pizza!)
- Learning about videogame design
- Discovering good music
